The idea behind this work is to create a real polychrome ceramic sculpture, on the theme of the most famous Abruzzese costume, that of the women of Scanno, a village in the province of L'Aquila that preserves its traditions. In addition we wanted to combine, to the visual, an olfactory suggestion thanks to the aromatic herbs of our mountain.

On the chest the sculpture bears the jewel worn by the women of Scanno, the Presentosa, made specifically in German silver by Maestro Leonardo Landolfo, goldsmith in Francavilla al mare.
The sculpture was created by the artist Emilio Patrizio and totally made of ceramic by Michele Santalucia, a ceramist.
The use of particular techniques such as marble enamel with metallic nuances and flower decoration, make it a work of art that reveals all the Abruzzese tradition of ceramics.
The work is available in a limited series of 40 copies, numbered and signed by the author, and all rigorously handmade.
