The decorative object made of steel and decorated by hand is a totemic motif that is part of the traditional textile iconography of the country of Sarule strong> (Nuoro).
The bird, called Su Puzone em>, & egrave; present in all the fine artifacts linked to the local textile tradition and it is; often accompanied by lozenge motifs and chalice motifs.
Of immemorial appearance, it represents one of the most important elements; of the blanket called Sa Burra em>, a very large artifact realized with the vertical frame with the central yellow field obtained from the use of an endemic plant, the Dafne.
