ALBERO DEI NUMERI arises from the idea of representing love for mathematics, as the pillar of everything. The tree has an angular shape, solid, regular, very geometric, and a crown constructed with numbers, symbols and arithmetic operations; the drawing is made on a Cor-ten steel rectangular sheet, behind which a mirror polished stainless steel sheet is applied. Cor-Ten steel is a very particular material that is called material paradox: its main characteristic is the excellent resistance to corrosion by atmospheric agents, which realizes by spontaneously forming a protective patina that does not change, thus stopping its natural oxidation with time. Every imperfection is considered a value, which guarantees the uniqueness of this piece made by hand.
